The Skarv Source for change" team celebrated the completion
of its
first project on December 9th, 2007. Entering data from the
ASER 2007
survey regarding hindi reading levels, math levels and
english
comprehension, eleven rural women from the Jhunjhunu
District of
Rajasthan entered data for 19,200 households in 32
districts. These
eleven sari-clad women delivered the highest quality data on
an
all-India level and Skarv has been recommended by Pratham
Rajasthan as
a preferred provider of data-entry services.
Skarv "Source for change", is a woman-run rural BPO in
Rajasthan. It
seeks to empower women, generate employment and introduce
technology
in rural India by providing best-in-class data-entry and
digitization
services to global clients.
