About this role
The incumbent will be accountable for developing and design educational content as per the program requirement, with comprehensive responsibilities that encompass, but are not restricted to, the following broad areas.

Duties

Data Collection:
Design data collection tools, surveys, and questionnaires.
Coordinate and conduct data collection activities, including interviews, focus groups, and observations.
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data collected from various sources.
Analyse collected data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement.
Use statistical software and tools to conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses.
Interpret findings and draw actionable conclusions from data.

Performance Monitoring:
Regularly monitor the progress of the primary education program against predefined indicators and targets.
Identify any deviations from the planned activities and outcomes.
Develop and maintain a performance monitoring system.

Evaluation Planning:
Assist in the design and implementation of program evaluations, including baseline, mid-term, and end-line assessments.
Collaborate with external evaluators if necessary.
Develop evaluation frameworks and methodologies.

Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare regular reports on program progress and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain comprehensive records of all data collected, surveys conducted, and reports generated.
Share findings with program staff and leadership for informed decision-making.

Quality Assurance:
Ensure data quality and integrity through data validation, cleaning, and verification processes.
Implement best practices for data management and storage.
Ethical Considerations:
Adhere to ethical standards in data collection, ensuring informed consent and privacy protection.
Maintain confidentiality and security of data.

Continuous Improvement:
Continuously review and enhance MME processes and tools to adapt to changing program needs.
Stay up to date with best practices in education monitoring and evaluation.

Travel: 70% travel in a month, to program sites.
Reporting to:
This position is required to report to the Program Coordinator & SR. MME Associate.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
Educational / Professional Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field.
Strong Verbal & written command in English & Hindi.
Ability to lead & work effectively in teams.
Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred:
Undergraduate degree or higher in any field (Engineers, Economics, Math, Stats is preferred).
Minimum of two years of work experience, preferably in an analytical role that involves presentation skills, is required.
Experience in working with an organization that has partnered with a district/ state government.

Pratham teams work in rural areas therefore willingness to travel with the state and to other Pratham offices for this position is essential.

Location: Madhya Pradesh
Salary: Monthly CTC range starting from Rs. 19,000 (exclusive of travel and accommodation allowance)
