About Pratham
Pratham was founded in 1995, to provide preschool education to children in Mumbai slums. Over the last 25 years, Pratham has grown to be one of the largest non-profit organisations working to provide quality education to children and youth in over 20 states and union territories across the country, through a range of interventions.
Pratham is a widely recognised organization, having received notable awards such as the Lui Che Woo Prize, the WISE Prize for Innovation, the Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship, the Henry R Kravis Prize in Leadership and the CNN-IBN Indian of the Year for Public Service. About ‘Project Jigyasaa’ Project
Pratham, in collaboration with the generous support of Siemens India, is initiating an exciting project ‘Jigyaasa’. The objective of Project Jigyaasa, as the name says, is to generate curiosity and interest in science & mathematics. Promote scientific temper, and awareness of digitalization and develop a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship at schools.
Role Overview
Master Trainers play a pivotal role in enhancing STEM education and fostering a culture of innovation and curiosity among students. The details are mentioned below:
School Campus Coordination:
- Each Master Trainer is responsible for coordinating with 5 school campuses. This may involve direct interaction with 5 to 10 school administrations to ensure seamless integration of STEM activities.
- Facilitate and monitor the implementation of STEM-based learning activities within the assigned schools.
Ensure that the activities align with the educational objectives and curricula of the schools. - Organize and manage STEM club activities in schools to promote interest and engagement in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
- Plan and execute innovative projects, competitions, and events as part of the club activities.
SolidEdge Training Planning
- Plan and coordinate SolidEdge training sessions for students and teachers.
- Ensure that training materials and resources are readily available and aligned with the training objectives.
Mentorship and Support:
- Act as a mentor to teachers and students in STEM-related subjects and activities.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure effective participation and learning outcomes.
- Regularly monitor the progress of STEM activities in the assigned campuses.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on the effectiveness and outcomes of STEM initiatives.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with school administrations, teachers, and other stakeholders to foster a culture of STEM learning.
- Communicate effectively with school leaders to address challenges and implement solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest developments and innovations in STEM education.
- Participate in professional development programs to enhance knowledge and skills in STEM teaching methodologies.
Location: Pune (Rural) and Gandhinagar (Gujrat)
Salary: As per the Master Trainer Level depending on the skill sets, Qualifications and experience.
