Equip Youth with Skills
for a Brighter Future
Pratham's Vocational Skilling program trains youth (18-30 years) from economically disadvantaged backgrounds with employable skills, opening doors to jobs and entrepreneurship. Our training model is based on strong industry linkages, counselling and hands-on skills training. It equips youth to access entry-level jobs in vocations like automotive, beauty, hospitality, and healthcare sectors.

Many girls and women don't complete high school due to various socio-economic factors. Pratham empowers school dropouts, especially young girls and women, with a second chance to complete Grade 10 — unlocking new opportunities for lifelong learning, and earning opportunities. In 2023-2024,
Pratham reached 9 million children, over 300,000 girls and women through mothers' groups, second chance and other programs, and 118,000 youth across 25 states, ensuring that education and skill development remain at the heart of sustainable progress.
This impact is achieved by working directly with children, girls and women, and youth in their communities and collaborating with state and district-level governments to scale our reach and effectiveness.
