Pratham and ADP have collaborated since 2014 to implement the ‘Making Impactful Difference at Schools’ (MIDAS) program in Hyderabad, Telangana, and Pune, Maharashtra. MIDAS enhances foundational literacy and numeracy skills by strengthening government school education and encouraging community involvement. Targeting children aged 3-14 and beyond, the program uses a multi-tiered approach that includes both in-school and community interventions. It comprises segments such as Early Years, Elementary, Upper Primary, Model Schools, Community Learning Hubs, and the Star Program. Over the past decade, MIDAS has focused on holistic education and continuous learning, implementing initiatives across Pune and Hyderabad through direct work and district-wide Early Years government partnerships in Nalgonda, Ranga Reddy, and Hyderabad.
