Pratham and Vodafone Idea Foundation began its collaboration in 2012 to improve student learning outcomes through technology integration into classrooms. This partnership began with a digital education pilot in 151 schools and, in 2019, led to the launch of Gurushala, an online platform for teachers and students. Gurushala provides access to educational content, self-paced courses and peer interactions, reaching over 8,00,000 users. By collaborating with governments, the platform supports teacher capacity-building programs, blending pedagogy and technology to improve classroom engagement. Together, Pratham and Vodafone Idea Foundation are driving innovation in education, making learning more inclusive and impactful.
